I’m extremely pleased the piece was accepted by editors Doug Murano and Michael Bailey, because it meant I joined the likes of Victor LaValle, Josh Malerman, Theodora Goss, Ramsey Campbell, Linda Addison, and many other writers I love. When talking about the book, I’ve even been joking that I’m the only writer I’ve never heard of!
