{"id":9934,"date":"2013-03-26T09:15:30","date_gmt":"2013-03-26T13:15:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/?p=9934"},"modified":"2013-03-26T09:15:30","modified_gmt":"2013-03-26T13:15:30","slug":"sneak-peek-at-next-restaurants-upcoming-vegan-menu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/2013\/03\/26\/sneak-peek-at-next-restaurants-upcoming-vegan-menu\/","title":{"rendered":"Sneak peek at Next restaurant&#8217;s upcoming Vegan menu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ever-changing Next restaurant is currently in the middle of its meat-heavy menu, The Hunt, which will end April 28, to be replaced by its antithesis, Vegan, beginning May 8. <\/p>\n<p>Those of us who love Next are all wondering what form that new menu will take, and this week, <a href=\"http:\/\/ulteriorepicure.com\/\">Ulterior Epicure<\/a>, at the start of The Hunt, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ulteriorepicure\/status\/316347901083254784\">was lucky enough<\/a>  to be presented with  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ulteriorepicure\/8590216187\/in\/photostream\/lightbox\/\">a single Vegan dish<\/a> as an  amuse-bouche.<\/p>\n<p>And it sure was beautiful.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/NextVeganSneakPeek.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/NextVeganSneakPeek-300x206.jpg\" alt=\"NextVeganSneakPeek\" width=\"300\" height=\"206\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-9935\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/NextVeganSneakPeek-300x206.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/NextVeganSneakPeek.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wish I didn&#8217;t have to wait until my May reservation to find out how it tastes!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m about as non-Vegan an eater as you&#8217;re likely to find (because everything tastes better with bacon, right?), but when it comes to food cooked at the level that Next can provide&#8212;I&#8217;m counting down the days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ever-changing Next restaurant is currently in the middle of its meat-heavy menu, The Hunt, which will end April 28, to be replaced by its antithesis, Vegan, beginning May 8.
