I just checked out my spam folder, and found that the following had been caught there due to  the sender&#8217;s address linking to a site (which I certainly won&#8217;t link to here, though I&#8217;ll show you a screen grab so you can see what I mean) offering offshore bank accounts in Panama:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/BrandonSandersonWords.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/BrandonSandersonWords-300x99.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"BrandonSandersonWords\" width=\"300\" height=\"99\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-8295\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/BrandonSandersonWords-300x99.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/BrandonSandersonWords.jpg 729w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The convention is sold out\u2014but I have ONE WORLD FANTASY MEMBERSHIP TO SELL. This is the most expensive convention that exists in the field (the cost is $250 Canadian), but if you\u2019re serious about publishing, it\u2019s worth it.
