Martha Thomases\u00a0is a freelance journalist who has been published in the\u00a0Village Voice<\/em>, the\u00a0New York Daily News<\/em>,\u00a0High Times<\/em>,\u00a0Spy<\/em>, the\u00a0National Lampoon<\/em>, and more. She\u2019s a VP of Corporate Communications at \u00a0ComicMix.com\u00a0as well as a weekly contributor there. From 1990-1999 she was Publicity Manager at DC Comics. She also worked as a researcher and assistant for author Norman Mailer on several of his books, including the Pulitzer-Prize-winning Executioner’s Song<\/em>, On Women and Their Elegance<\/em>, and Harlot’s Ghost<\/em>.\u00a0She created\u00a0Dakota North<\/em>\u00a0with Tony Salmons for Marvel. \u00a0Next year, A Wave Blue World will publish Second-Hand Rose<\/em>, her graphic novel with Richard Case.<\/p>\n
