Food v. the Horror Writers Association"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/jeffstrand.wordpress.com\/\">Jeff Strand<\/a>  beat me to the punch yesterday by telling me he&#8217;d already watched the Long Island episode of <em>Man v. Food<\/em> in preparation for next month&#8217;s Stoker Awards weekend. The guy (who made quite a dent in the BBQ at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.saltlickbbq.com\/\">Salt Lick<\/a> last month) put me to shame! <\/p>\n<p>But I have a good excuse. It&#8217;s hard to be thinking about the Stokers when I still have to survive the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfwa.org\/nebula-weekend\/\">Nebula Awards<\/a> in D.C. this weekend and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.balticon.org\/\">Balticon<\/a> over in Baltimore next weekend.<\/p>\n<p>But assuming I <em>do<\/em> survive, these clips will give you an idea of where I&#8217;ll end up.
