Found among late my late sister-in-law Ellen Vartanoff’s papers \u2014 two scripts written by Jack Miller for Young Love<\/em> #82 (October 1970). <\/p>\n

Miller wrote comics from the ’40s through the ’60s, including such titles as Deadman<\/em>, Batman<\/em>, Aquaman<\/em>, Blackhawk<\/em>, Jimmy Olsen<\/em>, and many others.<\/p>\n

Here’s the first page of both the script for “He’s the One I Want” and the resulting story. <\/p>\n

I don’t recognize who wrote Vinnie Colletta’s name across the top of the script \u2014 I assume it was Young Love<\/em>‘s editor, editor Dick Giordano \u2014 but it ended up assigned to Win Mortimer.<\/p>\n

And here’s “Please, Please … Make Him Forget Her” from the same issue, drawn by Gray Morrow. <\/p>\n

Someday, when I have time, I’ll scan the entirety of these scripts — along with the two I’d previously shared by Otto Binder<\/a> — for the benefit of historians.<\/p>\n
