Michael’s the author of more than twelve books, including the Ree Reyes urban fantasy series (Geekomancy<\/em>, Celebromancy<\/em>, Attack the Geek<\/em>, and Hexomancy<\/em>), Born to the Blade<\/em> (an epic fantasy serial with former guest of the show Malka Older<\/a>, Cassandra Khaw, and Marie Brennan), as well as Shield and Crocus<\/em>, The Younger Gods<\/em>, and the Genrenauts<\/em> novella series, which was a finalist for a r\/Fantasy Stabby Award. He has also been a finalist for the Hugo Award for Best Fancast with the Skiffy & Fanty Show. And his geek cred goes way back, for he tells me he was taken to see Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi<\/em> in theaters at the age of one, though his memories are murky.<\/p>\n
