DeCandido in Episode 116 of Eating the Fantastic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 27th incarnation of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.farpointcon.com\">Farpoint convention<\/a> was held in Hunt Valley, Maryland last weekend, and  I couldn\u2019t pass up the opportunity to steal away with an old friend for a meal, the same way I did two years ago when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/2018\/03\/09\/polish-off-a-persian-dinner-with-david-mack-in-episode-61-of-eating-the-fantastic\/\">I took David Mack out for a Persian dinner<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My guest this time around was <a href=\"http:\/\/decandido.net\">Keith R.A. He also writes reviews and essays for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tor.com\/author\/keith-decandido\/\">tor.com<\/a>, including his popular rewatches of multiple <em>Star Treks<\/em>, <em>Stargate SG-1<\/em>, and other series.  And those are just a few of his facets, which include music, martial arts, and more.<\/p>\n<p>We brunched at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ironroosterallday.com\">Iron Rooster<\/a>, where you can have breakfast all day &#8212;
