Winter at Charm City Spec"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, after recording a lunchtime episode of <a href=\"http:\/\/eatingthefantastic.com\">my Eating the Fantastic podcast<\/a> in Towson, Maryland, I headed into  Baltimore to attend the second incarnation of <a href=\"http:\/\/charmcityspec.com\">Charm City Spec<\/a>, a quarterly reading series which takes place at  <a href=\"https:\/\/birdinhandcharlesvillage.com\">Bird in Hand Coffee &#038; Books<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Last night&#8217;s featured writers were Malka Older, Tom Doyle, and Ariel S.
