Yardley \u2013 Little Dead Red (Grimm Mistresses) (Ragnarok Publications)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scott Edelman \u2013 Becoming Invisible, Becoming Seen (Dark Discoveries #30)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This marks the sixth time a story of mine has been voted onto a final Stoker Awards ballot. I previously appeared there with&#8212; <!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;A Plague on Both Your Houses&#8221; (on the 1997 ballot)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Last Supper&#8221; (2003)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Almost the Last Story by Almost the Last Man&#8221; (2007)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Petrified&#8221; (2008)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Hunger of Empty Vessels&#8221; (2009)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Funny &#8230; it&#8217;s only now, as I review those earlier five titles, that I realize four of my six nominations have been for zombie stories!<\/p>\n<p>Voting on the final ballot will begin shortly, with the winner announced at a banquet in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, May 14. If you\u2019re an Active or Lifetime member of the HWA who hasn&#8217;t yet read \u201cBecoming Invisible, Becoming Seen\u201d and would like a PDF, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/contact-scott\/\">please let me know<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and one last thing&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>As much as I&#8217;d love to win a Stoker&#8212;and I <em>would<\/em> love to win a Stoker&#8212;due to what happened with my previous nominations, even if I lose this time around, I&#8217;d sorta win.
