{"id":13909,"date":"2014-02-27T22:03:10","date_gmt":"2014-02-28T03:03:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/?p=13909"},"modified":"2014-02-27T23:38:10","modified_gmt":"2014-02-28T04:38:10","slug":"egg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/2014\/02\/27\/egg\/","title":{"rendered":"In which I sous vide an egg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So the next thing I decided to tackle with my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/2014\/02\/23\/say-hello-to-my-little-friend\/\">Sansaire<\/a> after those <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/2014\/02\/26\/so-how-did-those-72-hour-sous-vide-short-ribs-turn-out\/\">short ribs<\/a> was an egg, which I was going to let bathe in 65-degree Centigrade water for 45 minutes. <\/p>\n<p>Which sounded weird even to admit. <\/p>\n<p>Why take so much time to prepare something that for my entire life up until now only took minutes? (Which I guess is a question only an obvious sous vide newbie would ask.)
