{"id":13263,"date":"2008-09-06T17:50:51","date_gmt":"2008-09-06T21:50:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/?p=13263"},"modified":"2014-01-23T11:47:50","modified_gmt":"2014-01-23T16:47:50","slug":"september-4-2008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/2008\/09\/06\/september-4-2008\/","title":{"rendered":"September 4, 2008"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/2008\/09\/04\/september-4-1976\/\" target=\"_blank\">my previous post<\/a> I shared a photograph of the happy couple on our wedding day, I thought I should let the world see what 32 years has done to us.<\/p>\n<p>Due to a dreaded deadline doom, we celebrated close to home in a subdued, though still joyous, way. <\/p>\n<p>(Subdued compared to our celebration of the 25th anniversary, anyway, which began with a backyard party for 125 people and ended in the Galapagos Islands!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2008AnniversaryScottandIrene.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2008AnniversaryScottandIrene-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"2008AnniversaryScottandIrene\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-13264\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2008AnniversaryScottandIrene-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2008AnniversaryScottandIrene.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We had dinner in Inwood at a local, non-chain, family  restaurant, played 18 holes of miniature golf, and then wore ourselves out with several energetic rounds of air hockey, the last of which always leaves us laughing hysterically.<\/p>\n<p>Then it was a night spent going through old photo albums, and remembering all the twists and turns, both good and bad, which brought us here, still smiling.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since in my previous post I shared a photograph of the happy couple on our wedding day, I thought I should let the world see what 32 years has done to us.
