Of course you would!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>About two weeks ago, we discovered that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/2013\/05\/30\/three-little-foxes\/\">three baby foxes<\/a> had been born and were living under our shed, and since then, we&#8217;ve spotted them <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/2013\/06\/02\/thank-you-mother-nature\/\"> at least once <\/a>each day. (Don&#8217;t worry, they haven&#8217;t been abandoned&#8212;we see their Mom, too, from time to time.)<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, for example, we caught two of them napping, which  is just about the cutest thing I&#8217;ve ever seen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/NappingBabyFoxes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-10499\" alt=\"NappingBabyFoxes\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/NappingBabyFoxes-300x300.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/NappingBabyFoxes-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/NappingBabyFoxes-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/NappingBabyFoxes-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.scottedelman.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/NappingBabyFoxes.jpg 1056w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Why were they zonked out like that? What was it that had exhausted them so?<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Well, did you know that foxes climbed trees? I had no idea. But it turns out they do! And before they get the hang of doing it successfully, there&#8217;s an awful lot of only <em>trying<\/em> to climb trees &#8230; and an awful lot of falling down!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ExV0fXxnDTk?rel=0\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Even with all of today&#8217;s Internet woes (a story for another time), yesterday more than made up for it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About two weeks ago, we discovered that three baby foxes had been born and were living under our shed, and since then, we&#8217;ve spotted them at least once each day.
