Instagram didn’t launch until 2010—but why should that stop me from Instagramming L.A.con IV, the 2006 Worldcon which took place in Anaheim?

And so … here are seven snapshots of who were were a decade ago.

Bob Silverberg

Someone seems to have had a good time at the Japan bid party.

Len Wein

My old Marvel Comics boss, who gave me more than one big break 30 years before.

Pat Cadigan

Did she realize she’d be our Toastmaster 10 years down the road? If anyone could have, it would have been Pat!

Adam-Troy Castro

Adam tries—and fails—to hide behind a shrubbery.

Kim Stanley Robinson, James Patrick Kelly, and John Kessel

These three guys cleaned up nicely for the Hugo Awards ceremony, didn’t they?

Now let’s go out there and make some new memories at MidAmeriCon II in Kansas City!
