Two stories of mine were reprinted in the Pet Avengers collection NOT because of the heroes I’d originally chosen to write about, but because those heroes had animal sidekicks.
The book includes “On a Wing and a Prayer” (starring the Falcon and Redwing) from Captain America #220 and “Killers of a Purple Rage” (starring Hawkeye and the Two-Gun Kid … and their horses) from Marvel Tales #100.
Which has to be the weirdest reason a story of mine ever got reprinted!
But if it makes them easier for you to track down and read—I’m not going to complain!
