So how was The Hunt at Next? Well …

I have been remiss.

I experienced The Hunt at Next restaurant seven weeks ago, and have so far failed to write about it here the way I did earlier for both the Sicily and Kyoto menus.

And I’ve run out of time—because I’m heading back to Next tomorrow night for its Vegan menu!

Life has simply been too busy lately, And so, I give up … for now. Perhaps I’ll find the time later to contrast the meat-centric Hunt with its opposite, Vegan. We’ll see.

But until then, here’s one of the highlights of my Kitchen Table meal at Next—Chef Dave Beran tableside, preparing the pressed squab.

Can’t wait to see what he does with vegetables tomorrow night!
