Jim
I’ll admit to the JSA being my favorite group as a kid. Being a child of the early 70s, I was introduced to them by the 100-Page Super-Spectaculars, the Justice League team-ups, and later, the All-Star revival. I’m not completely sure why – maybe the reprints of their individual stories resonated more in this very young reader (G.A. Hawkman, Green Lantern and Doctor Fate in Detective to name three), maybe their costumes were more interesting, maybe I just thought Doctor Fate was really cool and that was his group – but I would only be a single data point. If I was a kid nowadays, maybe not.
